Alex DeLong is a graduate of the School of Film and Photography at Montana State University. She has been featured in a handful of local exhibitions, including the juried exhibition, Vox Populi. Her work consists of editorial and documentary photography, focusing on the vernacular and cultural influences of small town, America. Her work is inspired by the early color photography pioneers, Stephen Shore and William Eggleston. She spends most of her time and money tinkering with vintage film cameras.
DeLong is currently on a six month road trip in search of small town America's stories and built environment, before they're lost. Details about that project can be found at theroadramblers.com.
